½ûÂþÌìÌÃ’s Telecommunications Line Technician program is ideal for students who are looking for an exciting career that will take them to new heights. This program gives successful students the foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary to perform a variety of essential tasks. Student will gain experience in the field such as installing, repairing and maintaining telecommunications lines and cables. Additional skills include installing and removing suspension strands, cables, and guy wires, with an emphasis on safe operations, and proficient use of specialized tools and equipment.
Learners continue to build their comfort and skill with hands-on experience working at heights as well as pole climbing techniques. Successful graduates will be equipped to work efficiently and securely in the telecommunications industry.

Join our Telecommunications program instructor, Shane O’Toole for a program information session followed by a Q&A.
Upon successful completion of the program, the student will receive a certificate in Telecommunications Line Technician.
