    Career Possibilities

    Graduates of this program may be employed wherever heavy-duty equipment or commercial trucks are sold, serviced or repaired. This includes equipment dealers, garages, railways, provincial and municipal departments, and forestry, mining, agricultural and construction companies.  They may also be employed as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician, Truck and Transport Service Technician, Logging Equipment technician, Mining Equipment technician, Diesel Mechanic, Farm Equipment technician, and Construction Equipment technician.



    Specific Considerations

    This occupation requires physical fitness and good coordination as climbing and lifting may be required. The hours of work may be irregular and may include weekends, and evenings when required.
