½ûÂþÌìÌà is deeply saddened by the passing of Wesley "Wes" Armour, a proud ½ûÂþÌìÌà alumnus, respected business leader, philanthropist, and community supporter.

Wes graduated from ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ's Business Administration program in 1966 and remained connected to the college throughout his life. He was part of a longstanding circle of ½ûÂþÌìÌà alumni whose friendships endured for decades and who went on to help build businesses, strengthen communities, and contribute to the growth of New Brunswick. We were proud to count Wes among our alumni and to recognize his contributions with an inaugural Alumni Recognition Award in 2015.

In 2023, the Wesley and Patricia Armour Foundation made a historic gift to the College that established the Wesley Armour School of Business and expanded opportunities for learners. Through the Foundation’s support, new programs were created, facilities and technology were upgraded, the Wesley Armour School of Business Speaker Series was established, and Learning Opportunity Grants were made available to students.

Wes’ impact on ½ûÂþÌìÌà will continue through the opportunities created for learners and the school that bears his name. Through his success in business, his generosity, and his commitment to community, Wes set a remarkable example of what can be achieved here at home in New Brunswick.
